Citrus oil and gentle florality on the nose are layered with a deeper hazelnut on the palate but with freshness brought from fresh fennel. Fermentation plus 24 months in oak have lent this hazelnut note to the wine while also giving structure. This wine has body and packs a punch. It would be perfect beside a rich fish stew.
